About me

Hi! My name is Charlene Stacy.  I grew up in Morenci. I am one of four siblings.  My twin sister and I are the middle children in my immediate family. I have an older sister in PA. and a younger deceased brother. My parents grew up in Franklin, AZ. so I am a native of AZ. I come from a family of teachers and twins everywhere. We have twins on both sides of my parents. I am married to a twin!  His name is Douglas Stacy. I have always been active in my children's education by helping out in the classroom whenever I could.  My dream as a little girl was to become a teacher. My twin sister was also a teacher in the Morenci schools. I have four grown children, one boy and three girls. I also have 12 grandchildren ranging in age from 1 year to 24 years old.  We have a cattle ranch in the White Mountains on Blue River.  We also manage another cattle ranch on Four Bar Mesa. Our grandchildren like to help us whenever they can at our ranch. We've had some really good memorable times there.  We've also tried to instill in our children and grandchildren the importance of honest hard work and the value of a dollar.

My greatest joy is my entire family and my students. It is very gratifying to watch my students grow with knowledge from one year to the next. There is no greater experience than teaching.
